This past winter Mama's Worm Composting handed over the reins of the worm farming business to Urban Worm Composting. Urban Worm is associated with a non-profit called Urban Adamah, an urban foodbank farm that produces fruits and vegetables right on San Pablo in Berkeley and gives them away to anyone in need during weekly free farmer's markets. It's a fantastic organization and I'm thrilled that they have taken over the maintenence of the worms and encouraged by their considerable progress so far.
